I attended a recital presented by Hung-Tan Lin on April 30, 2016 at a private home. The program consisted of Bach, Copland and F. Liszt. The accuracy and style of playing reminded me of Glen Gould of a past generation. The Copland was frightfully difficult and full of jarring sounds. The Liszt set of variations each had a different character and some reminded me of Debussy and his use of light. Mr. Lin is a master of technique and bringing out the drama of each selection.
